Actually it is hitting everywhere from Macs to NAS and company servers running Samba or NT4.

Jim Pinkerton from Microsoft has been talking to the Samba-team (the file server in Mac) and wrote the following:
Sincere apologies, but wanted to confirm that there is an issue with NT Domain support in
Windows 7. We're trying to expeditiously track down exactly the issue(s), but the short of
it is I wouldn't spend time trying to get this functionality to work. We'll get some sort
of official notice out shortly (and I do mean shortly).

I really hope Microsoft will help Samba to get the extra security and then people who need to connect to old stuff, need to lower the security. That's fair enough.

How dare they make it secure by default, and then require the (relatively few) users with issues to downgrade or turn off security! It's almost as if they care about making their products harder to break into to...

I still cannot connect to windows7 with osx tiger, or vice versa.
